FierceWireless – Outdoor Small Cell Backhaul a 5-Year $5-Billion Opportunity, Says New Infonetics Report – December 11th
According to market research firm Infonetics Research, outdoor small cell backhaul is the fastest-growing segment of the small cell backhaul market. A cumulative $5 billion is predicted to be spent worldwide on outdoor small cell backhaul equipment between 2012 and 2016. This prediction is based on fielded surveys and the analyst firm’s direct work with manufacturers, mobile operators, small cell vendors and backhaul equipment vendors over the last two years.
