InfoVista Featured in Gartner’s 2011 Application Performance Monitoring Magic Quadrant

By Cyril Doussau de Bazingnan, Product Marketing Director, InfoVista

InfoVista is pleased to have been included in this year’s Application Performance Monitoring (APM) Magic Quadrant.  Gartner recognized our product suite’s support of three out of the five dimensions it has defined for APM functionality, namely end-user experience monitoring, application runtime, architecture discovery, modeling and display, and application performance analytics.

APM has become increasingly important for business service providers looking to build application awareness into their managed service offerings and performance management practices, so that they can provide enterprise customers with the actionable visibility they require to better understand business-critical applications and network data traffic.

InfoVista’s highly extensible performance assurance platform brings a combination of network and application performance monitoring that is ideally suited to service providers that are creating higher layer, application-like services. Our solution provides the flexibility, multi-tenancy, scalability and fully integrated data processing required to support the differentiated and accelerated time-to market of application-aware VPNs and other next-generation services, up to the cloud.

By providing operators with the actionable visibility needed to optimize application delivery, response time and bandwidth usage for enterprise customers, InfoVista enables operators to deliver new and differentiated product offerings and generate incremental revenues.

Gartner’s Magic Quadrant inclusion and exclusion criteria require that vendors have a global presence and at least 50 customers that use their APM products in a production environment. The analyst firm evaluates vendors on their ability to execute and the completeness of their vision.

You can find out more about how our Application-Aware Premium Reporting can help service providers offer differentiated IP-VPN services, gain new customers and fight the IP VPN revenue crunch, as well as how effective service performance assurance can help address the key challenges of delivering and managing UCC services.
